Entries must be written by pupils in year 9 or year 10 of secondary school studying English, Drama or Media Studies. Groups can be guided by teachers.
Teachers must register on this site to take part in the competition no later than 31 May 2010. Entry packs shall be sent via email to the valid registrants from 29 April 2010 to 30 April 2010. The closing date for entries is 9 July 2010. The 10 finalists will be notified by email on 2 August 2010 and the names of the finalists will be made available on this website shortly after 2 August 2010.
By registering to participate, schools and entrants understand they may be asked to and are hereby obliged to participate in publicity activity. The parent/guardian of a pupil that has been included in an application is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
Due to Coronation Street's busy programming schedules, all timings may be subject to change.
Storylines that are entered into the competition become the property of Coronation Street and all intellectual property rights in such storylines shall automatically and immediately after being entered into the competition vest in Coronation Street.
