Given that our distinctive identity has remained almost unchanged since 1938, and is as well loved today as it ever was, probably not.
We spy with our Celeb eye who’s been indulging in the Foamburst family recently. Heidi Range has revealed what keeps this Sugarbabe so sweet, saying ‘I love this shower gel!’. And it’s not just Ms Range who’s a fan of the foam. Soap beauty Michelle Keegan has confessed why a hectic schedule only leaves her time for a shower, but she won’t compromise when it comes to lather. She says Foamburst is ‘the best invention ever’. We couldn’t agree more Michelle.
To celebrate their 125th birthday, PZ Cussons brought to Manchester a fun-packed schedule of free events, suitable for adults and kids alike, all taking place in a unique bubbly structure.
The Soap Box was an experience like no other – a unique journey into a world of bubbly sights, sounds and scents to entertain.
Children and adults learnt about the history of Imperial Leather and what goes into the perfect shower gel and soap – from ingredients to fragrance and bubble factor to moisturiser.

Many people had lots of foamy fun at the Blackpool foamburst foambooth event and it was difficult to choose our favourite picture. But we think that there was one clear winner who really threw herself headfirst into the action!

July saw the launch of our PZ Cussons Soapbox in the centre of Manchester, and we had the pleasure of DJ Darren Procter visiting us from Manchester Key 103’s Radio Station. He took part in all the activities we had on during the 10 days we were open, including listening to Imperial Leather adverts from the 1950s on our interactive shower headphones.
