Whats Happening

Hot stuff

We know what makes a good bath, and who better to share our expertise with than you? When it’s been one of those days, and the only way to wash away your worries is a nice long soak, follow our top bathing tips and make the most of your tub time.

1. Peace and quiet is essential, so make sure any little rascals are safely tucked up in bed, and everyone else has finished their bathroom rituals for the evening. Any banging on the door will burst your little bubble of tranquillity in an instant.

2. Leave your clothes outside along with any worries or negative karma. And check everything you need to create an oasis of relaxation is within arms length, before closing the door on the rest of the world.

3. Get the temperature just right.

4. Pick and mix products to reflect your mood. Long day at the office? Try Stressless. Over done it at the gym? Give Muscle Soak a go. And why not try an all over body brush for an even greater sense of rejuvenation.

5. Spark up a few candles, for instant ambience and drape a warm facecloth over your face for a steamy couple of minutes.

6. Relax and enjoy.

7. Timing is everything, so soak long enough to fully relax but not so long you shrivel up into a human prune.

8. Snuggle into a big fluffy towel or comfy robe, turbans optional.

Mmmmmmmm perfect.

We’re so proud to tell you our little cream soap played a vital role in Peter
Kay’s childhood Christmases. Kay, who’s famous for his hilarious
observations on working-class life in Bolton, mentioned it when he was a
guest on Chris Moyles’s radio one show last Friday. He asked Moyles ‘did you
have Imperial Leather when you were a child?’ and went on to tell listeners
‘me mum used to get it out on Christmas eve, special occasion Christmas
eve’. Well Mrs Kay obviously has impeccable taste, This Christmas, why not
